Our senior management were excited to embark on a journey in October 2023, visiting prestigious university partners across four European countries. This offers us a unique platform to share our latest advancements in AI, Innovation, and Smart Cities.
Our Provost Prof. Yike GUO, Dean of Business and Management Prof. Kar Yan TAM, Dean of Engineering Prof. Hong LO and Associate Provost Dr. Alison Lloyd, visited the university’s strategic partners, the University College London, Imperial College London, University of Oxford, Technical University of Munich and ETH Zurich. The HKUST delegation organized two exclusive receptions for esteemed scholars in London and Zurich and co-organized an expert seminar in partnership with HKTDC London and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, London, featuring Prof. GUO and Prof. Hong LO as keynote speakers to talk about how AI and innovation have been shaping sustainable and citizen-centric smart cities.
The HKUST representatives also took the opportunities to meet with alumni groups in London and Paris to share updates of the University’s latest development.
